What is the Arts Management Boot Camp?
The Arts Management Boot Camp is a one-week management intensive for emerging to mid-career arts administrators and managers. It is delivered live in a classroom with a companion online component.
Using individual and group learning approaches, with an emphasis on community-building among participants, the course focuses on principles of arts management.
Coursework includes a mix of lectures, case studies, reading assignments, team projects, round tables, networking, and site visits. This course is ideal for arts workers ranging from part-time administrators to mid-level managers who wish to increase their management capacity and confidence.
Who are the instructors?
The Arts Management Boot Camp is led by Camilla Holland, Executive Director of the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, and includes senior guest lecturers from across Manitoba’s arts community.
The course was developed for Creative Manitoba by Camilla Holland and Neil Middleton, Vice President of Marketing at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
