DESCRIPTION:A Little Art Boutique at 807 Corydon Avenue in Winnipeg present Artwork by “Art by Miss” Melissa Miller July 8-30\, 2026. \nA Little Art Boutique is part contemporary art gallery showing work by Manitoba artists and part gift boutique with hand made or small batch goods by local and Canadian artists and small businesses. \nMelissa Miller Artist Statement: \n“This collection began with wildflowers and the prairie landscape\, but it is less about\ndocumenting a specific place than about the act of noticing.\nThrough layers of colour\, texture\, and expressive mark-making\, these paintings explore\nmoments of quiet discovery—looking through grasses\, across field edges\, and into blooms that\nappear briefly before fading back into the landscape.\nI am interested in the beauty of what is easily overlooked: wildflowers growing untended\, shifting\nlight\, and the small details that often go unnoticed in everyday life. For me\, these flowers\nembody a quiet resilience\, bringing beauty to overlooked corners of the landscape.\nThis collection is an invitation to slow down\, look a little closer\, and find wonder in the ordinary.”
