Manitoba Showcase 2017

October 19 - October 22

Every year, the Manitoba Arts Network invites some of the best Canadian talent to showcase their work for arts organizations across the province at Manitoba Showcase. Attendees have the opportunity to experience 15 incredible performances, attend professional development workshops, enjoy visual art exhibits and take in tons of networking time over three fulfilling days.

The showcases of talented artists from across the country gives delegates the chance to preview and meet performers they may want to bring to their community during the upcoming season. The preeminent event of its kind in Manitoba, Showcase provides opportunity for rural and northern arts presenters to exchange ideas and develop or renew professional relationships.

We are thrilled to partner with Russell and District Recreation Commission this year for our annual Manitoba Showcase!

The Town of Russell is situated at the junction of Highways 16, 83 and 45, approximately 15 km east of the Saskatchewan border and 340 km northwest of Winnipeg. The community is home to approximately 1,700 people and provides a wide variety of arts and cultural programming to surrounding communities such as Inglis and Binscarth. With some of the most scenic valleys and lakes, the region is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna to impress even the most experienced birders and naturalists.

Our Showcase host facilities will include the Russell Inn, the George P. Buleziuk Centre and the beautiful Asessipi Ski Resort.  We will be working closely with local artists and organizers to highlight the incredible talent of the region as well as provide an enjoyable conference experience for our members, showcasing artists and partners.
