SUMMARY:Memories of the Gen X Generation
DESCRIPTION:Although the late 1960s through the early 1980s might be remembered for the abundance of orange and avocado coloured objects and the macramé wall hangings and plant hangers\, there is much more to appreciate about this period. \nBeyond the stereotypes\, this exhibit celebrates the clothing\, décor\, toys and household items that live in the memories of those who grew up during this pivotal decade.  Media including embroidery\, weaving\, knitting\, crochet\, macramé\, wood working\, doll making\, quilting and glass.
