Calling all caregivers, this show is for YOU AND YOURS! Those who spend time as a caregiver know how difficult it can be to get out and enjoy local music, so the WECC has partnered with Good + Plenty Arts Collective to bring you The Music Cocoon, a concert series that brings you the local music you love while prioritizing families, those with sensory needs, and anyone who wants to catch a show in a safe, flexible, nurturing environment. Good + Plenty Arts Collective is grateful to Balancing Act Canada for guidance and resources for The Music Cocoon.

What you can expect:

– music played live from your favourite local bands (NOT “kids music”, the bands’ original music–no baby shark here!)

– quieter music levels and soft lighting

– chairs in multiple seating arrangements

– ribbons, pom poms, and other fun toys

– a Chill Room off the front lobby designated for feeding infants, self-regulation, and de-stimulation
