Artist Boot Camp: Applying for Exhibitions with Anna Binta Diallo and Sarah Hodges-Kolisnyk

Thursday, November 14  |  7 to 9 pm  |  Online

Have you ever mounted a show of your artistic work? From finding the right space to putting together a complete and detailed application and proposal, there’s a lot to think about beyond just gathering the best pieces in your collection!

Anna Binta Diallo and Sarah Hodges-Kolisnyk will give you essential tips for preparing exhibition applications, from the perspective of an artist who applies and a gallery director who receives submissions. This workshop will help you to identify the right exhibition spaces for you, understand various types of calls for proposals, and create standout applications and support materials.

Expect to come away from this online workshop ready and prepared to apply for your next show!

Within a couple of weeks of broadcast, the workshop will be available with captioning at mawa.ca/videos/professional-advice.
