It is a great class for kids who are ready to start learning simple musical skills such as pitch matching\, keeping a steady beat\, and changing tempos. It will also be an introduction to collaborating and engaging in a class environment and developing independence. \nAccessibility: Our ensemble room (where this group class is held) is accessible by a ramp outside Bryce Hall. Once you enter the building\, you’ll find a gender neutral\, accessible washroom available to you. This is next to a push plate activated door leading to our ensemble room. DESCRIPTION:Online via Zoom\nCLASSES ARE FREE–funded entirely by Music Equals supporters \nBaby Beats gives parents with babies and toddlers a chance to participate in music sharing time together from the comfort of their own homes. Instructor McKenna Hodges uses nursery rhymes\, books\, music recordings\, dance\, movement\, and body percussion to introduce basic musical foundations to our littlest participants. Children enjoy a variety of activities which focus on rhythm\, motor skills and pitch while their parents begin to understand how their babies learn. \nThis class runs from 9 – 9:30 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
