SUMMARY:A Little Art Boutique "Home" Art Exhibition by Sarah Neville
DESCRIPTION:A Little Art Boutique at 807 Corydon Avenue in Winnipeg presents – “Home” The newest series of artwork by Winnipeg artist Sarah Neville. Free to attend and all artwork is for sale to collect. A Little Art Boutique is part contemporary art gallery showcasing local original art and part gift boutique with offerings made by hand or small batch by local and Canadian small business. We also carry specialty art kits and supplies. \nSarah Neville Artist Statement: “Home. It is where an adventure starts from or where it can end. It is a place where many activities can take place and it can look different to almost everyone.  \nThis is a concept that I have been fascinated with for a long time. Seeing how people make their homes their own\, however that may be\, has inspired me. This includes wildlife. I love learning about all the different places animals find their homes and this idea is what inspired the shadowboxes in this series. I love creating research for my artwork and have found so much inspiration in the different styles of homes for each different species.  \nThe idea of a doorknob is such a curious object. It’s a relatively simple object\, but when in use\, it can open a world of possibilities. It could be the start of a new adventure or can be the first step in returning home. These painted doorknobs represent the idea of adventures taken and the homes we can find along the way.  \nThis new series is very different for me and at the same time\, I felt at home working on each and every one of these pieces. Using watercolour paints\, pencil crayons and other mix medias\, I created these pieces to hopefully bring a little amusement and fun into the world\, but also to illustrate the beauty\, love\, and uniqueness of homes all around us.” \nAbout the Artist Sarah Neville: \nSarah Neville is a Winnipeg illustrator and painter.  She works in a wide range of materials including watercolours\, pencil crayons\, gouache and more. \nShe studied fine arts at the University of Manitoba. She loves incorporating humour and playfulness into her artwork. Animals are often found in her pieces. Along with creating original artwork\, Neville also is a children’s book illustrator. Her illustrations created for the book\, Fur is Only Fur Deep\, won the McNally Robinson Book of the Year.

SUMMARY:A Little Art Boutique presents Artwork by "Art by Miss" Melissa Miller
DESCRIPTION:A Little Art Boutique at 807 Corydon Avenue in Winnipeg present Artwork by “Art by Miss” Melissa Miller July 8-30\, 2026. \nA Little Art Boutique is part contemporary art gallery showing work by Manitoba artists and part gift boutique with hand made or small batch goods by local and Canadian artists and small businesses. \nMelissa Miller Artist Statement: \n“This collection began with wildflowers and the prairie landscape\, but it is less about\ndocumenting a specific place than about the act of noticing.\nThrough layers of colour\, texture\, and expressive mark-making\, these paintings explore\nmoments of quiet discovery—looking through grasses\, across field edges\, and into blooms that\nappear briefly before fading back into the landscape.\nI am interested in the beauty of what is easily overlooked: wildflowers growing untended\, shifting\nlight\, and the small details that often go unnoticed in everyday life. For me\, these flowers\nembody a quiet resilience\, bringing beauty to overlooked corners of the landscape.\nThis collection is an invitation to slow down\, look a little closer\, and find wonder in the ordinary.”
