How to Sell at a Farmers’ Market – with Katie Daman
Tuesday, March 11, 2025 | 6 – 8:00 pm CST | Online | FREE
Markets are important places of commerce for many artists, food makers, and creators. They can happen any time of the year and come in all shapes and sizes. Whether you are just starting out, looking to add another revenue source to your business, or supporting a friend or family member, this workshop will help you become a more knowledgeable vendor! We’ll review many topics to help set you up for success including basic terminology, common barriers, and expected costs. We’ll also go over a vendor’s first steps to consider when starting out. Lastly, we’ll offer an overview of areas such as food safety and permits, pricing strategies, and how to follow general organizational or legal guidelines. Note: This workshop also supports coordinators and invested volunteers to better familiarize themselves with all aspects of the market process; highlighting the example of Farmers’ Markets.
REGISTRATION IS OPEN UNTIL 3:00 PM March 11, 2025. You will receive a ZOOM link to your inbox by 4 pm. Check your junk or spam folders if you can’t find your link!
