DESCRIPTION:On Saturday & Sunday\, June 6 & 7\, the Manitoba Band Association (MBA) Family of Festivals Community Band Festival celebrates Manitoba’s diverse tapestry of community bands by connecting youth and adults alike through a weekend of sharing music and community in Winnipeg’s beautiful Coronation Park. \n  \nThe MBA Family of Festivals\, which began in February and runs over a total of 15 days through June 7\, 2026\, is one of the largest of its kind in Western Canada.  \n  \nFestival Program & Schedule \nThe festival poster & full schedule can be viewed here. \n  \nSaturday\, June 6 \n\n1:00pm – Friday Morning Concert Band\n2:00pm – Westwood Community Band\n3:00pm – Winnipeg Video Game Orchestra\n4:00pm – The Winnipeg Pops Orchestra\n\n  \nSunday\, June 7 \n\n1:00pm – The German Club Band\n2:00pm – Northwinds Community Band\n3:00pm – Executive Big Band\n4:00pm – Assiniboia Concert Band\n5:00pm – The Big Band Project\n\n  \nLocation \nCoronation Park: located in north St Boniface on the east side of St Mary’s Road\, between Tache St. and Eugenie St.\, the festival takes place in the heart of beautiful Coronation Park at the band stand and on the patio. \n  \nWhat to Bring \nFestival goers are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket\, water\, and sun protection! \n  \nAdmission \nThere is no cost to attend\, though donations to support MBA programs and band activity in Manitoba are gratefully accepted.  \n  \nAs this is a fair-weather outdoor festival\, performances are weather-permitting. SUMMARY:What is Beauty? Finding Joy in the World Around Us
DESCRIPTION:This is the 4th Annual Art exhibition and sale – A fundraising event hosted by Creative Journeys – a program area of Westman Youth for Christ in Brandon Manitoba.\nOur event is a ticketed event that runs for two evenings and is open to the public. The event offers artist of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to show and sell their works in a gallery type setting. The funds raised through this event go towards supporting the Creative Journeys youth art programs in our city. Artist can submit up to 3 works of art to the show and a 30% commission is held for all sales.  Artists may choose to donate additional funds from the sale of their work and receive a tax receipt for anything above the 30% commission. There is no fee required to have your art in the show. \nTickets to the event include entrance to the show\, as well as a snack plate and punch.
