The Office of Continuing Competency and Assessment (CCA), Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba, is looking for cover art for the annual course brochure.
The cover art will also be used in promotions throughout the 2023-2024 academic year in our weekly newsletter and social media accounts. Requested submissions are to include a mock-up of the artist’s idea for the cover art, a short description of the artwork (up to 250 words), a short biography (up to 250 words), contact information (email address and phone number), and a selection of other artwork that showcases the artist’s style and abilities (this could be in the form a website link). The artist whose submission is chosen for the 2023-2024 academic year will receive a stipend of $500.00 for their artwork and a link on the www.cpdumanitoba.com webpage with their biography, their artwork, and a photo of the artist (optional).
Requirements:
- The artist must be Manitoba-based.
- Submissions must be received by March 30, 2023, at contactcca@umanitoba.ca (cover artwork mock-ups must be sent as a jpeg. Biographies and artwork descriptions can be sent in the body of the email or in a word document).
- The chosen submission must be submitted as a high-quality png file by May 5, 2023.
The top 3 submissions will receive a $50.00 stipend for their submission.

The submission must be in line with the mission, vision, and policies of the University of Manitoba and Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. The selection is final and at the discretion of the Office of Continuing Competency and Assessment, Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. CCA must approve the final submission before it is accepted to ensure it is appropriate.
