This is an approximate 3-month term positions from June 2025-August 2025.

Join our team as an Activity Worker and assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for students outside of the studio. From evening activities to weekend adventures, you’ll be at the core of student life—supporting and guiding while enriching the overall student experience.

The Role:
As a Summer Activity Worker, you will actively supervise boarding students aged 11-18, and non-boarding school students, during activities and events. You will work alongside other Activity Workers and Boarding Advisors to support all aspects of student life during evenings and weekends.
Key Duties:
• Provide supervision to students during evenings and weekends.
• Act as a role model for students.
• Support meaningful inclusion and active participation of all individuals within the community.
• Provide logistical and other support during activities and events.
• Walk or accompany students on van/bus to and from appointments, activities, and events.
• Forward concerns raised by students and their parents/guardians as appropriate.
• General administration such as attendance and note taking.
• Cleaning and other facility-related duties such as moving furniture, particularly during scheduled cleaning days.
• Perform clerical, customer service, and production support for Recreational Division recitals and registration.
Work Setting:
You will work in a Student Boarding setting and at activity locations throughout the city supervising students. In this position, you will utilize general recreational equipment, industrial cleaning supplies, and will be required to lift/move heavy items weighing up to 22 KG (50lbs).
What You Bring:
• Eighteen (18) years of age.
• Background in camp counselling, coaching, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children or young adults preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification desirable.
• Ability to speak and write in other languages an asset.
• Positive disposition and enthusiasm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative within the scope of responsibility.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
