Now in its 21st year, the Winnipeg Folk Festival is pleased to present the Stingray Young Performers Program once again.

The program hosts upwards of 30 multi-talented youth musicians aged 14-24. Participants spend a day in sessions with mentors chosen from the festival’s lineup, crafting, and perfecting their songs and a second day performing on stage in front of a Folk Fest audience.

It’s a chance to interact and exchange ideas with young musicians with similar musical interests and we hope those who take part will come away inspired to pursue a future in music.
