2025/26 Performing Arts Training Lab

The ViC is now accepting submissions for our 2025/26 Performing Arts Training Lab! From September to January, participants will train in acting, singing, dance, and creation taught by Canadian arts professionals. Participants will be introduced to a variety of artistic practices, creation methods, and dance styles to better shape their voice as artists. Additionally, lab participants will take part our annual festival of new works, Inhibition Exhibition.

With your submission, please include a resume detailing your past performance and educational experience. A full list of guidelines is available on our website.

Please prepare the following:

• one scene or monologue of your choice. A reader will be available for those who wish to perform a scene.
• one song of your choice (min. 16 bars)
• a piece of your own creation, no longer than two minutes in length

Our post-secondary program is open to students 18+. Deadline to submit is Sunday, May 4.
