JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Art Educator, Studio Programs, greets and informs students and visitors, in person or by telephone, with regards to classes and activities.
TYPICAL DUTIES: Greet and provide service and up-to-date information to visitors with regards to classes, registrations, and activities.
Collect registrations for classes, answer inquiries, mail brochures, collect and handle cash transactions.
Maintain adequate control over cash receipts and required cash float.
Compile and maintain attendance reports.
Maintain lobby and display holders in a tidy and orderly manner.
Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve communications and customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS: Background in Fine Arts/Art Education essential.
Current Child Abuse Registry Check
General knowledge of art materials and procedures.
Experience in handling cash.
Experience in dealing with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
Superior organizational and communication skills.
Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office would be an asset.
