The Prairie Outdoor Exhibition is an interactive outdoor gallery at Folk Fest.
We look for visual artists to exhibit their work in this beautiful natural setting and experience a truly unique outdoor gallery. Here’s your chance to create something that will inspire, engage, challenge and amuse our audience!

Our theme for 2019 is Folk Fest Fauna. Birds Hill Park is home a wide variety of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. We invite you to submit proposals that explore and celebrate the creatures (real or imagined) who share their home with us during the festival, as well as other project ideas you feel would be positive additions to the site.

Work can be installed in open fields, trees, tents, or on fences. Considerations should include safety, ease of installation and removal, lasting impact on the natural environment, and the ability of the work to withstand sun, wind, rain, and curious patrons/children. Artists are responsible for installing and removing work.
