Community bands have been a part of Manitoba’s heritage for more than a century and are a vital part of Manitoba’s band community, offering connection, community, and lifelong music-making opportunities.
The 2025 Community Band Festival, presented as part of MBA’s 50th Anniversary Family of Festivals, is a weekend of sharing and celebrating lifelong music-making by showcasing many of Manitoba’s Community Bands performing free concerts in the beautiful setting of Coronation Park. Concerts are free, but donations are encouraged. Please note: all performances are weather-permitting.

4:00 pm: Winnipeg Video Game Orchestra

6:00 pm: Winnipeg Pops Orchestra

1:00 pm: Assiniboia Concert Band
2:00 pm: 252 Osborne Legion Band
3:00 pm: Friday Morning Concert Band
4:00 pm: The Little Big Band
