Game Camp

August 19, 2019 - August 23, 2019

New Media Manitoba and the Seven Oaks School Division are teaming up to produce a truly one of kind summer experience for students between the ages 12-14.

Our 2019 Game Camp will expose students to the wonders of video game design from an established indie game developer! Students will team-up and develop an interactive narrative game. They’ll learn basic programming and how to create digital art and audio to enhance their creations. What makes this week-long experience unique is that students are not limited to just computer work. Each day, participants will make a meal together and then have some outdoor recreation time.

This will allow them to clear their minds and allow for fun and fellowship beyond screens. The 2019 edition of Game Camp is going to be a great week of fun and learning.

Sign up now, registration is limited.
