Improv Your Communication Workshop
November 20, 2019 at6:30 pm - 9:00 pm$40.00
We are extremely excited to announce that this workshop will be the launch of our Personal and Professional Development Series (PPD)! This series is going to focus on topics that will further develop your skills and knowledge in both your life and within your career, and further assist you in feeling more confident in your daily tasks.
Throughout our earlier years in life we are provided with many resources to strengthen our education and gain the necessary skills to grow into a fulfilling life and career. But rarely do these resources teach you how to communicate with the necessary people in a confident manner that leaves you feeling comfortable to tackle the goals you want to accomplish.
Have you ever gone into an interview feeling like you could throw up because you were so nervous? Or have you ever wanted to collaborate with other people but couldn’t bring yourself to approach them about the project? What about feeling the heavy weight of anxiety and sweaty hands kick in when all you need to do is stand up and read a small sentence in front of people?
I think it’s safe to say we have all felt some similar feelings when communicating with others. And that is why we can’t wait to host our upcoming Improv Your Communication Workshop ran by Stephen from The Improv Company. Improv isn’t only for professional performers, it’s for anyone who needs to effectively communicate with another human. Improv means being a better listener and a more effective communicator along with having a whole lot of fun and trying new things!
