Intro to Blues Singing for Adults

Do you love the blues? Are you an adult singer who wants to expand your repertoire? This four-week vocal class will explore blues singing from its earliest form to contemporary examples. Singers will learn to recognize the 12-Bar Blues, as well as learn standards in the 12-Bar Blues tradition. In the fourth and final session, the class will write a blues song based on a chosen topic. Singers who also play guitar or ukulele are welcome to bring their instruments along.
