Self Care Sundays: Finding your Flow

This self-care workshop is open to anyone at any age, any industry, and any skill level, and is dedicated to support artists’ mental and physical health as they work to grow and expand their creativity.
We find that there are many artists who put so much of their time and energy into their passion, and forget to take care of themselves in the process. Which is why we are dedicating every second Sunday to focusing on our mental and physical health so that our passion can flourish even more!
Join us on Sunday, July 28th at Assiniboine Park (Site 18) while we take the time to allow our bodies and minds to flow freely. We will have a guest speaker there that will talk about what self-care is, ways to cope with unwanted stress, anxiety and depression, and many more topics along this line. After this 30 minute talk, we will then be offering a yoga session that is open to any body, age, and skill level and is targeted towards the artists who need more movement in their daily lives. After the yoga session, we will then have some time to share and chat about anything that comes to mind!
This event is Free, BUT we will be TAKING DONATIONS, with proceeds going to a non-profit Winnipeg based organization that helps artists grow called Art City!
