Social Innovation Challenge
April 4 - April 5
The Winnipeg Social Innovation Challenge is a dynamic 13 hour (April 4 & 5, 2019) collaborative competition that is open to anyone looking to make a positive social impact through the arts.
Here’s what it looks like:
The event begins with participants preparing a 60-second elevator pitch with help from expert coaches. The pitches are given, and after a vote by all present, the top ten participants move on to the second day.
Everyone is encouraged to attend the second day to continue learning. On day two, the top ten work through a business plan with the help and guidance of the coaches. The day ends with a final pitch to a panel of judges and over $4000 in grant money is awarded to the winners.
