Let’s address the ways to lighten our impact on the planet together.
During the workshop, we will learn furoshiki, the Japanese method of fabric wrapping, as well as other alternative ways to wrap gifts.
What we will provide
- Embroidery materials
- Fabric ($2/piece, or bring your own)
What you can bring, if you’d like
- Pieces of fabric
- Gifts you’d like to wrap
- Decorations such as scrap material, beads, magazines for collaging, old holiday cards, etc
- Questions about sustainability
The cost of the workshop is pay what you can (suggested donation of $10) and $2/piece of fabric if you don’t bring your own. Take your creations and new skills home at the end of the workshop.
