A big band take on Leonard Bernstein's classic tale of warring street gangs in 1950s Harlem. In 2009, Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra members (and some friends) collaborated to arrange an 11-movement suite that reimagines the immensely popular musical. These street festivals are a joyous gathering of people, with lots of food, fireworks, and of course lots and lots of music and dancing in celebration of the season. Music from A Charlie Brown Christmas
