Interdisciplinary Residency for Musicians
Fuse is a residency for the curious, who want to expand their artistic practice. Supported by collaborative mentors and an environment that encourages creative play, this program encourages musicians and ensembles to experiment, create, research, and grow in Banff Centre’s unrivalled mountain environment.
Performers will collaborate on a large-scale project while also having the opportunity to form smaller ensembles to explore additional artistic expressions. We invite musicians, singers, conductors, and concert experience creators working in Classical, Jazz, Electronic, and related disciplines to apply.

Classical Chamber Music Residency
This collaborative residency is for classically trained string, woodwind, and brass musicians, pianists, percussionists, and composers committed to chamber music. Join the esteemed Parker Quartet, lead faculty Joel Brennan and acclaimed guest faculty from around the globe.
Explore the rich history and contemporary evolution of chamber music, from classical compositions to bold new works, including pieces composed in collaboration with participant composers.

Classical Piano Residency
Learn alongside exceptional guest faculty from around the world, exploring the deep connection between artistic vision and craft. Designed for early-career pianists and aspiring composer–pianists, this program invites you to bring genuine expression and unique perspectives into your music for authentic performances. Work with internationally celebrated artists as you delve into masterworks spanning from historical traditions to contemporary innovations.

Independent Residencies in dance studios, rehearsal spaces, or music studios
This is your time for uninterrupted space to start or advance your project in our dance studios, rehearsal spaces, or music studios. Ideal for solo creators or small to medium sized ensembles, it provides the space and freedom to move, make noise, and focus deeply on your work.
Program Dates Apr 06, 2026 – Mar 26, 2027
Program Durations: Residencies can be 1 or 2 weeks in length. Longer residencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis subject to availability
