SUMMARY:MCMA Adult Choir
DESCRIPTION:If you are an adult singer looking for community\, shared experience\, and a supportive\, no pressure musical environment\, the MCMA Adult Choir might be exactly the right fit! Led by the incomparable Chrystl Bartel\, singers of all experience levels will explore a “formal” choral experience\, using varied repertoire to learn singing in parts. This is a non-denominational choir which will reflect an inspirational context and include Canadian composers\, musical theatre\, pop music and show tunes! All skill levels and voice types are welcome. \nThis choir runs weekly from February 4 – June 10\, 2026.

SUMMARY:Intro to Instruments - 1:30 pm
DESCRIPTION:Is your child ready to start private lessons? Have they participated in early childhood programs and are curious about what comes next? This group class will introduce children to a different instrumental discipline each week\, letting them decide what they like best as they transition into private instruction. Will it be brass? Violin? Piano? Voice? Try them all! \nThis class is on Saturdays from 1:30 to 2:25 pm. \nThese introductory classes are designed to be a stepping stone towards private music lessons. We are offering graduates of this class a $50 discount for individual instruction. Intro to Instruments students must register for private lessons within one year of graduation from this class in order to take advantage of this special offer.

Are you unsure whether or not they are ready to start taking music lessons? Children as young as age four are often ready for private instruction! Explore four weeks of musical theatre in a small group to help determine whether your child is ready for the next step in their musical journeys with activities designed especially for busy minds and bodies who love music! \nThese introductory classes are designed to be a stepping stone towards private music lessons. We are offering graduates of this class a $50 discount for individual instruction. Intro to Musical Theatre students must register for private lessons within one year of graduation from this class in order to take advantage of this special offer. \nAccessibility: The chapel (where this group class is held) is accessible by a ramp outside Bryce Hall. Once you enter the building\, you’ll find a gender neutral\, accessible washroom available to you. There is a Handi-Transit stop across the street from Bryce Hall.
