Erratic? Unfocused? Lost in the sauce? Do you feel like your artistic practice may be experiencing an identity crisis?
This workshop will help visual artists find and develop their distinct artistic voice. It will explore ways to focus your practice and develop a cohesive and personal body of work. A unified body of work is almost essential for successful grant applications and exhibition proposals! Come get inspired, and dig into what makes your work unique and therefore interesting.
If you are willing to share a few pieces of your work, bring them along. There may be opportunities for the group to discuss them in light of the evening’s discussion.
This workshop will be conducted in-person at MAWA, 203 – 329 Cumberland Ave.
