Jovelle Balani is a Filipino-Canadian singer, songwriter, and performing artist. With her soulful voice and unique style, she has been carving a name for herself in the local and international music scene. She draws inspiration from Norah Jones, Amy Winehouse, and Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox to name a few.
7:30 – Quincy Telus
Powerful vocals paired with raw, honest lyrics, pulsing synths, stacked guitars, lush harmonies, and hard-hitting drums have garnered independent Canadian artist Quincy Telus radio play on CCM radio stations across Canada, playlist placement, as well as collaborations with artists such as Neon Feather and Kaylin Kole.
8:00 – The Good Sky Woman
Known for her strong vocals & emotionally charged deliveries, The Good Sky Woman leaves audiences feeling truly moved. As a recent Masters of Music graduate, The Good Sky Woman is excited to embark on the next chapter of her music career in Winnipeg. She will be performing blues & R&B/pop originals & covers alongside guitarist Victor Hugo.
8:30 – Hera Nalam
Born and raised in the Philippines, Hera Nalam first came to Canada in the year 2011 when she was 16 years of age. In the last 10 years in Canada she has immersed herself in the local creative platforms from music, theatre, film and fashion and is making waves as a true inter-disciplinarian and collaborative artist.
