Artist Statement

Reaching deep on an emotional level, striving to create art infused with soul and beauty, the works presented in this exhibition resonate beyond the surface idea of abstracted landscapes. This process has become an essential part of my artistic identity, grounded in the exploration of emotion, connection, and reflection.

Each piece unfolds through the layering of multiple alcohol ink colour blends, manipulated through droplets, brushes, knives, and other tools, revealing complexity and harmony. The final layer, featuring carefully and randomly placed lines and dots in acrylic, suggests a journey that is more controlled than the flow of ink in the layers below, while following the path presented. The dots move rhythmically across the surface like steps on a life map, representing the paths we walk, the choices we make, and the passage of time.

The act of applying each dot is both deliberate and meditative, a process that bridges the visual and the introspective. Working on these pieces reflects a moment of contemplation, an opportunity to process the truths in the news, in life, and in my health journey. Each piece translates into something tangible, luminous, and deeply human.

My artwork continues to evolve as life around me changes. The big shifts that unfolded in 2025 have brought new perspectives, adventures, and moments to process, each one finding its way into the work as it grows and transforms.
