This project is a brand-new theatre festival focusing on audio dramas. All plays are original, created and performed by local (Manitoba) artists. The goal is to create a platform for local theatre artists to explore the genre and entertain with this well-loved art form. The aim of this Festival is twofold; first, the festive part of the festival, is to have the plays on-stage before live audiences throughout Manitoba. Secondly, plays are recorded to go out to a wider audience (the rest of the world).
A pilot of this festival was held in October 2025. This is now Phase 2 of the project, with the Festival as an annual event. We would appreciate your input in shaping this Festival going forward.
