About us
Young United Church (YUC) has served Winnipeg's West Broadway neighbourhood for many years from the Crossways in Common community campus at 222 Furby Street. Crossways in Common is wheelchair accessible with washroom facilities on each floor.
YUC has three core focus areas: honouring inclusivity; ministry grounded in music and the arts; and social justice and supporting the West Broadway neighbourhood.
We are committed to supporting music and the arts in Manitoba and are willing to work with interested individuals and organizations to meet their rental needs. We have space available on flexible terms for rehearsals, theatre productions, concerts, and other artistic performances. We can also accommodate meetings and functions and would be willing to work with renters looking for long-term leasing opportunities.
Our 3,170 square foot sanctuary and 2,000 square foot mini-gym are ideal rehearsal spaces for theatre groups and other performing artists preparing for the Winnipeg Fringe Festival and other events. Our sanctuary has great acoustics and adaptable seating; making it an excellent music and theatre venue. Rentals are available throughout the year at hourly, full-day, and half-day rates.
