The Winnipeg Arts Council Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation with charitable status, charged by the City of Winnipeg to distribute funding to arts organizations and artists, to manage the City’s Public Art Policy, and to champion development of the arts for the people of Winnipeg. The Winnipeg Arts Council is a city-building organization focused on the connections between the arts and the city's quality of life, as well as its reputation nationally and internationally.
In 2025 the Winnipeg Arts Council received $4.65 million for this purpose along with another $258,570 which supports five museums designated by the City of Winnipeg.
On Screen Manitoba is the industry association for more than 2,000 filmmakers, producers, creators, crew, unions, festivals and service suppliers working in Manitoba’s media production sector.
