Calls for Submissions

OurToba is hosting another Cold Reading Night on April 16, 2026. It is a fun, engaging night where filmmakers watch professional actors perform their scripts and see their words come to life!

The session begins with writers introducing their scripts to the audience, followed by a brief Q&A session after the script reading. Writers also have the opportunity to engage with the audience and actors to receive feedback on their work.

Sydney Sabiston will be the host for this April’s Cold Read. She has starred in projects including Time Cut, All Fun and Games, The Magic of Lemon Drops, & Under The Christmas Sky, etc. In addition to acting, Sydney has built extensive experience as an Assistant Director, Production Coordinator, and has worked in Casting and Research.

The event will occur at the Artspace Boardroom (Located on the 4th floor) at 100 Arthur Street from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
