Volunteer Communications and Outreach Assistant

Project overview:

AudiArts is a theatre festival focusing on audio dramas. All plays are original, created and performed by local (Manitoba) artists. We have created a platform for theatre artists to explore the genre and entertain with this well-loved art form, and now we are aiming to expand and improve it. The aim of the AudiArts Festival is twofold; first, the “festive” part of the festival involves the plays begin performed on-stage before a live audience; and second, the plays are recorded for free distribution to a wider audience (the rest of the world). The inaugural festival was held in October 2025, performed live in front of audiences and recorded at The Gargoyle Theatre. This is now Phase 2 of the project, to make this an annual event.
