Raised for the most part in Quebec, Jan Jenkins worked in Alberta’s energy industry until she moved to Manitoba where she now creates original art for smaller spaces and wearable art for that unique look.  Her work is influenced by the meditative art form of zendoodling along with intricate repeating patterns found in textiles, decorative tiling and nature.  Most memorable for Jan are having two of her designs selected by the town of Russell, MB to adorn their decorative main street steel arches, having her In The Wind artworks included in Manitoba Art Network’s touring exhibition program, and participating in a Manitoba Arts Network digital collaboration videography project with musician Raine Hamilton.  She is a member of the Manitoba Society of Artists, The Drawn Together Collective, the Art Gallery of Soutwestern Manitoba, Wasagaming Community Arts and Arts West Council.  For more information about Jan and her art please visit www.janjenkins.art

I am a freelance pattern drafter, cutter, tailor, stitcher and general textile person. I mostly specialize in for trade era and war of 1812 British clothing, but I’ve also explored several different time periods, including the modern era. I work individual clients, historic sites as well as theater and film productions.

Erica Wilson is an indigenous artist/community connector located in Winnipeg on Treaty one territory. She’s had an interesting journey with several companies that align with her morals within the arts, community and culture sector, starting off in Theatre Acting. Erica has had many opportunities to work with folks across Canada, which has helped build a community of amazing people. Being in many circles able to share her perspective in culture, arts and education within her city but also across Canada.
Erica is currently the Arts Community Director - Medium-sized Organizations and Board member of the Winnipeg Arts Council, Former - Creation Advisory Circle Member with the Indigenous Youth Roots, past highlights have been with the National Screen Institute as Co-Manager for their TikTok Accelerator for Indigenous creators for 3 years and Indigenous Leadership Development Institute's Stage Manager for their World Indigenous Business Forum in Colombia.  She’s always looking forward to continual years of learning, empowerment and creativity!
