A Little Art Boutique is part contemporary art gallery showing work by Manitoba artists and part gift boutique with hand made or small batch goods by local and Canadian artists and small businesses.

Melissa Miller Artist Statement:

“This collection began with wildflowers and the prairie landscape, but it is less about
documenting a specific place than about the act of noticing.
Through layers of colour, texture, and expressive mark-making, these paintings explore
moments of quiet discovery—looking through grasses, across field edges, and into blooms that
appear briefly before fading back into the landscape.
I am interested in the beauty of what is easily overlooked: wildflowers growing untended, shifting
light, and the small details that often go unnoticed in everyday life. For me, these flowers
embody a quiet resilience, bringing beauty to overlooked corners of the landscape.
This collection is an invitation to slow down, look a little closer, and find wonder in the ordinary.”
