About

Zanifa Rasool is a graduate of the Honours and Devised program at the University of Winnipeg.

They are a multi-disciplinary artist trained primarily in acting and directing. They are a visual artist, primarily using acrylic paints and mixed media. They are also a movement artist.

Zanifa has a deep love for collaborative theatre, and incorporating nature, and queer theory into their work.

They were part of the One Trunk Theatre residency program, the Creative Manitoba mentorship with Cherissa Richards, and the RMTC National Mentorship Program with Jacquie Thomas.

They are also currently the Communications Associate for Theatre Projects Manitoba. Having started as an intern interesting in admin work and marketing, Zanifa moved on to a regular position at the company. They help with social media and general comms tasks, as well as Front of House for the company's seasoned shows.
