The Winnipeg Public Library is currently recruiting two local makers to act as Makers-in-Residence for our 2027 terms. There are two residency opportunities available that will run for 18 weeks out of the ideaMILL on the 3^rd floor of the Millennium Library, the term dates are:

• Term 1: mid-February to mid-June
• Term 2: mid-August to mid-December

During their residency, each maker will:

• Offer weekly, scheduled drop-in hours in the ideaMILL that allow them to create and share their skills on-site with library visitors
• Create and deliver 5 workshops at branch libraries teaching their skillset to participants

Each maker will receive a stipend of $16,000 and a budget of up to $2,500 for supplies.
