Volunteer Opportunities

We are currently seeking volunteer members to join our Community Grants Advisory Committee.  We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Applicants do not need all qualifications to apply. Diverse perspectives, community connections, and lived experiences will help strengthen the committee and its impact.

About the committee: 

• Community Grants Advisory Committee members will bring community knowledge, lived experience, and sector expertise to help ensure that funding decisions are informed and equitable.  
• They will participate in discussions about community needs, opportunities, and challenges while helping advance Winnipeg Foundation’s mission and impact in our community.
• This is a two-year pilot. The volunteer term is typically two years, with a possibility of 1- year renewal. 
• Members will meet three times a year and can participate in person or virtually.
