We’re looking for stylish Grade 5 to 12 kids from across Canada!
Have you ever watched a fit check video before?
That’s when a stylish person shows off an outfit they’re planning to wear in a video.
One person doing it is normal, but have you ever seen 100 fit checks from kids across Canada showing off their back-to-school looks, back to back to back?
That’s where you come in.
CBC Kids News is looking for kids, tweens and teens, from Grades 5 to 12, who have great individual style. That means you are responsible for the looks you put together, not a parent or guardian.
We are searching far and wide because Canada’s regions are all so unique.
We want to cover it all: Indigenous style, farmstead and fishing village fits, big city and small town vibes, thrift kings and queens, Y2K revivalists, clean girls and matcha boys, sneakerheads, kids who love to personalise their school uniforms, punks, preps and everything in between.
So, if you want to be part of our back-to-school fashion coverage and can talk for ages about your style, what inspires you, what makes your region’s style unique and how much your style has changed from school year to school year, fill out the form below. We want to hear from you!
The form will ask you to upload a picture of your favourite back-to-school fit. You will also need permission from a parent or guardian.
Due to the high volume of submissions, only those selected will be contacted for an interview.
Deadline to apply extended: Aug. 10 at 11 a.m. ET.
