Folded Books with Erwin Huebner

In this workshop, we will look at a few examples of books made from a single sheet of paper by folding.

Hedi Kyle is a well-known book artist who has pioneered a number of variations of folded books, such as “Blizzard Books and Flag Books. I will demonstrate how to make folded book structures such as Concertina books, Flag Books and Blizzard books and variations thereof.

Workshop attendees will be able to make a blizzard book and, time permitting, perhaps a second folded book type.

All materials will be provided.

A useful reference book is “The Art of the Fold: How to Make Innovative Books and Paper Structures” by Hedi Kyle and Ulla Warchol. 2018 Lawrence King Publishing.
