CHRC’s Respectful Workplaces in the Arts (RWA) presentations encourage better workplace practices and behaviours. The presentation cover information on Provincial legislation, definitions of harassment and bullying as well as case-studies to navigate the complexities of problematic situations. These workshops are not legal nor therapy clinics, they are conversations facilitated by experienced cultural sector leaders. Resources are discussed to help individuals and organizations towards contributing to better work environments and/or to develop their own policies/codes of conduct.

About the Presenter
Dr. Grégoire Gagnon is a manager, pedagogue and musician fostering culture and promoting arts from the stage to the classroom to the boardroom. Aside from being a lifelong academic and a real-world problem solver, Grégoire is (amongst other things) currently the Executive Director of the Cultural Human Resources Council, the President of the Ottawa Guitar Society and in all of his roles, he strives to make others thrive.

Cancellation policy
Creative Manitoba reserves the right to cancel or postpone any event where a minimum registration level has not been met. Participants registered for an event that is cancelled by Creative Manitoba will receive a full refund.
Registrants may cancel up to one week before the event to receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued to registrants who cancel within one week of the event start date. No refunds will be issued for registrants who do not attend.
Substitute participants are allowed in most cases, but not all. Please check with us ahead of time if you wish to send a substitute participant by calling 204-927-2787.
