“The Impossible Has Already Happened,” a collaborative co-creation between Vancouver’s MascallDance and Footnote New Zealand Dance, is coming to WCD after a successful tour of New Zealand!

Motivated by the incredible scale & enormity of the climate crisis while working with climate scientists, activists, and knowledge-keepers, a fantastic cast of diverse artists bring laughter and momentum to the challenges of today’s world.
Contemporary dance combined with live music by Metis Fiddler Kathleen Nisbit, theatre, and storytelling all come together with relevance and purpose in this exciting new work!
Through dance, the work also investigates the power of water and how it sustains, nourishes, disrupts and dazzles our planet. It draws parallels to our flowing lives, stagnated situations, and the presence of being. With a sense of urgency, this work highlights our precious natural resource and all it can achieve.

All performances are at The Rachel Browne Theatre, an accessible venue with priority seating and an inclusive washroom. Please call ahead to reserve mobility devices.
