Peer Learning Circles are a new opportunity to enhance courses and programs that Creative Manitoba offers. They will be in-person, regularly scheduled opportunities for informal learning and sharing in a facilitated forum.
Who it’s for:
- Anyone with questions about how an employee experience can be improved
- Anyone who supervises another person
- Anyone aspiring to be leaders in the arts, cultural and creative industries
This is a safe and confidential drop-in exclusively for Creative Manitoba members to share and learn with expert facilitation by Dr. Lana Adeleye-Olusae (CPHR, HCS, MBA). Discussion will be structured around the employee life cycle and specific topics as raised by participants will be addressed.
The purpose of the circles is to:
- Provide an opportunity for peer engagement after Creative Manitoba programs and courses end
- Facilitate informal learning with various support networks
- Create asset exchanges, where a person or organization can offer knowledge or resources to save money and time
- Identify further formal learning needs and plan larger events if desired by the participant
Facilitator: Dr. Lana Adeleye-Olusae (CPHR, HCS, MBA) teaches our 14 hour Cultural Human Resource Management course and is an instructor in our Arts Management Boot Camp. He is the HR Director at the Manitoba Museum and owns Surefooting Consult

Cancellation policy
Creative Manitoba reserves the right to cancel or postpone any event where a minimum registration level has not been met. Participants registered for an event that is cancelled by Creative Manitoba will receive a full refund.
Registrants may cancel up to one week before the event to receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued to registrants who cancel within one week of the event start date. No refunds will be issued for registrants who do not attend.
Substitute participants are allowed in most cases, but not all. Please check with us ahead of time if you wish to send a substitute participant by calling 204-927-2787.
