Board of Directors

Dance Manitoba is a registered charity committed to promoting and offering educational opportunities to dancers, dance educators, and dance enthusiasts in Manitoba.  Established in 1983, Dance Manitoba has a legacy of celebrating the incredible dance artists and continues to connect the community.  Given the new climate, Dance Manitoba is eager to provide workshops, performance opportunities, and distribute information about what is happening in the province.

Dance Manitoba is looking for individuals for the Board of Directors that can continue to help the organization remain present and useful to the dance community.  We ask our Board of Directors to commit to 6-8 Board Meetings throughout the year, volunteer at our events if possible, and offer a openness to help establish policy and decision making to ensure that dance is supported to all of our members.  Virtual meetings are an option and we encourage individuals from all over the province to apply.  We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage all who share a love of movement to apply. Backgrounds in legal experience, financial experience, fundraising, and marketing would be welcomed as well and individuals who are connected to dance and/or dance education.  This is a volunteer Board of Directors.
