Website Lullaland Sensory
Deadline: September 29, 2023
Who we are:
Lullaland is a women-owned startup, and our baby & toddler classes are unlike anything else currently offered in Canada. Lullaland is Winnipeg’s FIRST-ever sensory class, creating fun adventures for little ones and their grownups. Our creative and immersive ‘destinations’ change every week, so families never experience the same class twice! We have a passion for innovation and for baby development, and this motivates us to provide a welcoming and engaging space for like-minded grown-ups. Our popular classes help grown-ups bond with their baby and toddlers while also allowing them to connect with other parents who are on the same exciting journey of early-year parenthood.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for two Lullaland Assistants who can work alongside our class Leaders to ensure programs are run to the highest standard!
We are looking for an individual who is dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic and someone who shares an interest in baby development. The successful candidate is personable, confident and enjoys performing and singing in front of others. We’re looking to hire someone on a part-time basis, and there will be the opportunity to progress to a part-time Class Leader in the future. You will be well-suited to this position if you are highly organized, love to perform to others and get excited about the idea of working for an organization where creativity is at the heart.
Job responsibilities:
- Availability to work two days weekly; the candidate must be available to work during class times, which may include one weekday and one weekend day, as well as additional time for training and session planning
- Assist in the set-up and tear-down of class space and in resetting the room between classes, i.e. tidying, sanitizing, and organizing props & equipment
- Assist in greeting and welcoming grown-ups – the candidate is a friendly, energetic, and warm individual who has a natural ability to connect with others
- Genuinely interested in babies & toddlers and their development; will demonstrate and/or perform to them in a professional way using props like colorful scarves, parachutes, and bubbles
- Entertain and perform – the ideal candidate can captivate a room and has a strong singing voice (formal voice training is not required. However, it would be an asset)
- Organized, responsible and reliable and loves working as part of a fun team
