The Good + Plenty Producer’s Club is having its first Winnipeg meetup! This event is intended to be an open, casual hangout for women, non-binary, and trans-femme folks interested or working in music production, audio engineering, or a related field. If you don’t identify as a woman/nb person, please feel free to forward it to your woman/nb friends who may be interested.
Beginner or expert, you are welcome here! This is a safe place to get to know other like-minded women and NB folks who share your passion for learning more about music production. You will also have an opportunity to fill out a short questionnaire that will help us get to know more about our producer community in Winnipeg and what changes you hope to see in the next few years!
Join us Monday, July 25 from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm (drop in or stay for the whole time!) at The Good Will at 625 Portage Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Good Will is a physically accessible space, has gender-neutral washrooms, and is neighbours to Khao House where you can purchase some food or beverages if desired. The GPPC meetup will have ZERO tolerance for discrimination or general asshole-ness of any kind. We encourage and love one another, support all of our siblings, and stand up for one another when we see injustice. No questions asked.
