INSPIRE: Youth Choral Symposium

Calling all students in grades 8-12! Join us as we kick off the 2024-25 school year with singing, exercises, and activities that will teach you new skills, introduce you to new friends, and challenge you to become a better singer and leader in your own choir. This two-day professional development event is designed for choir singers to learn choral skills and explore topics and activities around vocal technique, warm-ups, intro to conducting, songwriting, improvisation, IDEA, social justice, and other leadership topics.

Singers will have the opportunity to make music together, hear from presenters and fellow students, and build community over the two days, with the goal of inspiring students to continue singing during and beyond high school, and even consider a future career in the choral arts and/or choral music education.
