About the Workshop:

This fun, challenging individual training approach will get you moving in ways you didn’t think possible. You will discover rhythm, style and personality, from a strongly skilled resident choreographer. Each segment of the course includes: introductions, outdoor warm up, indoor warm up and a few water breaks to learn a short dance combo. You will leave feeling energized and confident. Don’t forget to bring a bottle of water.

Schedule:
10:30 am – Warm up with DAMMECIA HALL
11:00 am – Lead with DAMMECIA HALL and 393 CREW
11:30 am – Lead with DAMMECIA HALL and DJ GeNie
12:00 pm – Lunch (Provided by Art City)
1:00 pm  – Lead with YLDE & DAMMECIA HALL
1:30 pm – Lead with CYPHER DANCERS & DAMMECIA HALL
2:00 pm  – Final (20m) & enjoy

About Dammecia:

Founder of Define Movement is passionate about dance, leadership development and mentoring small businesses. She is a graduate of the Senior Professional program of the School of Contemporary Dancers in affiliation with the University of Winnipeg’s Bachelor of Arts (honours) in Dance degree program. As a professional contemporary dancer, dance workshop facilitator, and an alumna of the Nafro Dance Company, Dammecia has also made her name in Toronto, participating in many projects by the likes of the Nu Dance Performance Institute, the Toronto District School Board and Our Streetsville Square project. Fluent in hip-hop and African movement as well as ballet, modern and contemporary styles
