Lyric Writing with Osani Balkaran, Maker-in-Residence at the Winnipeg Public Library

In this workshop, learn about hip-hop and its influence on contemporary music. Through video, library resources, and a specific method that Osani will teach you, you’ll be breaking down syllables, writing lyrics, and matching them with rap beats. One-to-one help will be provided throughout as you write your lyrics.
